A top executive from MGM Resorts International has announced her retirement, according to a local report from the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
After more than three decades with the company, Ann Hoff said in a statement to local news she will be retiring as of April 25.
According to a company spokesperson, Hoff will remain in her role until her retirement date.
While with MGM Resorts, Hoff served as the President and COO of the Bellagio and Park MGM hotel-casinos. She started with the company in 1990.
MGM Resort International’s COO Corey Sanders wrote in a memo dated March 6 to local news, “It is hard to overstate the contributions Ann has made to the company over her long career.
“She is a testament to what is possible to accomplish at MGM Resorts, and her career has been an inspiration to so many of our colleagues who have followed her.”
Hoff also wrote a memo dated March 6, stating that her decision to retire was due to “much reflection” and was a “difficult decision.”
She went on to add, “Leaving is certainly not easy. The relationships I have built are some of the most meaningful in my life and this company has been my second home.”
Hoff also said in an interview with the Review-Journal that she is “profoundly grateful for a career that fulfilled my lifetime love of hospitality” and she was “looking forward to continuing my board service and experiencing new adventures in this next chapter.”
At this time, MGM has not announced who will take on Hoff’s role when she leaves.
