Light & Wonder debuts new Wizard of Oz game via BetMGM Casino
This is the first of several titles in this new series.

Light & Wonder has launched its The Wizard of Oz slot games on BetMGM’s online casino, in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences.
The new slot games feature characters from the land of Oz, including the Tin Man, Dorothy, the Cowardly Lion and the Scarecrow. This suite of titles will be available exclusively through BetMGM, the company said.
The first in its series, The Wizard of Oz – Over the Rainbow, is live for players who live in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and in the Canadian province of Ontario.
Light & Wonder said more games in the series are due to be released throughout this year and next year.
The company said in a statement, “The Wizard of Oz slot is a proven player favorite in brick-and-mortar casinos, and now Light & Wonder brings the thrill of navigating the fantastical world of Oz online.
“All games available through the Light & Wonder content marketplace are supported with a comprehensive range of responsible gambling tools, helping to deliver a safe and enjoyable gaming experience for players.”
In other company news, Light & Wonder recently signed a definitive agreement with Grover Gaming to acquire its the charitable gaming assets “for a total consideration of $850m cash.”
The company said employees from both Light & Wonder and Grover Gaming will occupy the business once the purchase is complete.
The transaction is scheduled to conclude in the second quarter of 2025.
