These include MGM Resorts International, Caesars Entertainment, Wynn Las Vegas and Overton Power District.
Escape’s actual capacity will be 185 megawatts, as well as another 400 megawatts for storage, according to the local report.
In breakdown of megawatt distribution, Escape will provide MGM with 115 MW of solar and 400 MW hours of battery energy storage, Overton Power District with 25 MW, Caesars Entertainment with 25 MW and Wynn Las Vegas with 20 MW.
Good to know: The solar project will cost close to $340m
Bechel Operations Manager of renewables and clean power business Kelley Brown told local news that the company is eager to work on the project.
Kelley said in a statement, “We look forward to building a facility that will generate renewable energy for decades to come and add to Nevada’s successful history of renewable power generation.”
Estuary Power, which is based in Reno, estimates that the project will be completed during the third quarter of this year.
