Hyatt and Venetian Resort Las Vegas enter long-term licensing agreement

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas recently unveiled plans for a $1.5bn reinvestment to celebrate the property’s 25th anniversary.

Hyatt Hotels and the Venetian Resort Las Vegas have announced a new long-term licensing agreement that will allow customers to book rooms at the Las Vegas strip property through Hyatt channels.
As per the agreement, World of Hyatt members as well as eligible meeting and event planners will be able to earn and redeem loyalty points on qualifying stays at the Venetian Resort Las Vegas.
“Las Vegas is a perennial favorite for World of Hyatt members and our group business customers are requesting rooms at a higher volume than pre-pandemic due to the world-class entertainment and unique experiences offered by this dynamic destination,” Hyatt CCO Mark Vondrasek said.
“The licensing agreement with The Venetian Resort Las Vegas adds 7,000 rooms and 2.25 million square feet of meeting space, inviting Hyatt’s loyalty members and valued customers to have even more options to earn and redeem loyalty points when visiting Las Vegas.”

In terms of gaming, new offerings will include the Palazzo High Limit Lounge, a fully redesigned sportsbook which comes with a multi-year naming rights partnership with Yahoo and a new poker room.

The two companies will also begin working together in the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) and convention space in order to complement its respective strengths.
