Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa has named a new SVP of Marketing in Mikhail Gaushkin, who will now oversee a number of operations in the marketing team.
After joining Seminole Hard Rock Tampa 15 years ago in 2009, Gaushkin has advanced through the marketing department from his initial role as Director of database Marketing, eventually moving up to become Vice President of Marketing. Aside from his time with Seminole Hard Rock Tampa, Vice President of Marketing has experienced stints as senior director of strategic marketing at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, as well as leadership positions at Harrah’s (Caesars) MGM/Mirage.
Now, Gaushkin is set to move on from his previous role of CMO at Auction.com to help drive the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa marketing team through campaign inspection, tactical goal-setting and inter-departmental cooperation.
Originally, hails from Krasnodar, a major economic hub city in Russia, situated near numerous Black Sea resorts. He attended the University of Las Vegas, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel Administration. Now, he will seek to utlise his expertise on the East Coast, as he turns over into this latest chapter of his career journey.

Similarly to Gaushkin’s appointment, Chris Kelley was also recently appointed as the President of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tejon.
Recent news out of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa saw a number of ‘suspicious devices’ discovered inside the casino in early October. Police reported that the devices contained firework components and ensured their safe removal from the property.
More broadly, Hard Rock International and Seminole Gaming also partnered with Ocean Conservancy in order to advance sustainability actions across the pair’s joint properties.
