In celebration of 13 years in New York City, Resorts World New York City (RWNYC) has kicked off its '13 Days of Resorts World' initiative.
State Senator James Sanders said, “Resorts World New York City has been there for the community over the last 13 years, and I’m glad they continue to live up to their word.
“This Holiday season, their 13 Days of Resorts World will take that community presence to a new level as they deliver toys, meals and coats to families in need. I’m glad to have them as a neighbor in our community throughout the year.”
The company will participate in two weeks of community activations from now until Christmas and have partnered with local leadership, celebrities and nonprofits, including the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Queens.
Genting Americas East President Robert DeSalvio commented, “Resorts World New York City has been a proud community steward in Queens over the last 13 years and we are proud to call ourselves neighbors to amazing civic organizations and institutions.
“13 Days of Resorts World is our thank you to those neighbors for their partnership throughout the year. What inspires me more than anything else is that this is a staff-led effort, reflecting the fact many of our employees live blocks, not boroughs, from our facility. This is their community, and they are clearly dedicated to seeing it thrive.”
During the 13-day initiative, Resorts World will sponsor toy giveaways, along with a toy drive led by staff to support Toys for Tots.
Boys and Girls Club of Metro Queens Executive Director David Kupecky said, “Resorts World New York City has been an incredible partner in helping us bring smiles to children’s faces this holiday season.
“Their support ensures that hundreds of kids in our community will experience the magic of the holidays, and we are grateful for their unwavering dedication to making a difference.”
