New Jersey reports $556.9m in total gaming revenue for November

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) has reported the state’s total gaming revenue for the month of November, generating $556.9m during the period for a 15.4% increase year-over-year.
Casino win, iGaming and sports wagering make up the three segments that contribute to New Jersey’s total gaming revenue each month. The highest revenue during November came from casino win, which reported $223.9m and increased 4.2% from the prior year period.
iGaming and sports wagering revenue grew by 24.7% and 24.1%, respectively, as iGaming generated a revenue of $214m as compared to sports wagering’s revenue of $119m.
Slot machines once again carried the way for casino win throughout November, accounting for $167.7m of the revenue generated during the period for an increase of 4.3% year-over-year. Table game win also increased by 4% from the prior year period, reporting a November revenue of $56.2m.
New Jersey has seen a decrease in year-to-date (YTD) casino win, however, as the nearly $2.6bn reported for 2024 up to this point represents a 1.1% decrease from the prior YTD amount. Table game win has seen the largest decrease, coming in over $40m less than what had been reported at this time for 2023.

Sports wagering has managed to increase by 15% from the prior YTD period for a total of $1.03bn, while iGaming rose by 23.8% to be nearly $2.16bn so far during 2024. The $5.78bn in total gaming revenue throughout 2024 represents an increase of just under 10% from the prior YTD period.
Borgata Atlantic City and Resorts World reported the highest total gaming revenues of any property in New Jersey, generating $122.7m and $101m for year-over-year increases of 25.5% and 27.9%, respectively.
