MGM Resorts has changed its resort and parking fees effective today, according to a Las Vegas Review-Journal local news report.
The last time MGM Resort raised its fees was in January.
The company said that will “increase the fee schedules for the two charges at all of its properties on and along the resort corridor” and said the rate increases “are based on local and nationwide marketplace standards.”
Bellagio, Aria, Vdara and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will raise resort fees from $5 to $55 per day the local report said.
Resort fees as MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Delano, Park MGM, Nomad and The Signature will increase to $50.
New York-New York, Luxor and Excalibur will be charging a $45 resort fee.
Resort fees go toward paying for certain amenities like in-room Wi-Fi access, unlimited local and long-distance domestic calls, fitness center access, digital magazine and newspaper downloads, boarding pass printing and access to streaming services.
MGM Resorts also decided to increase its parking fees.
All properties will implement a new $40 valet parking fee for hotel guests and visitors. Hotel guests who choose the self-parking option will pay a $20 fee on all days.
Self-parking rates for visitors will now be $20 Monday through Thursday and $25 Friday through Sunday.
MGM Resorts operates five non-gaming hotels and nine casino hotels on the Las Vegas Strip.
To date, its BetMGM online brand has extended its digital footprint to include more than 25 jurisdictions. During the past year, BetMGM has launched in six North American markets, including New York, Louisiana, Illinois, Ontario, Kansas and Maryland.
