Wynn Resorts provides construction update for United Arab Emirates resort

Wynn Al Marjan Island is expected to become available for guests in early 2027, with a topping off ceremony planned for December 2025.

Key points:

Wynn Resorts has provided an update on the construction for its new United Arab Emirates project, Wynn Al Marjan Island, which is expected to be completed in early 2027. The property will represent the first integrated resort to be located in the United Arab Emirates. 

Wynn Design and Development has employed more than 90 architects, designers and creative visionaries to oversee all facets of the project’s design and development.

Construction has proceeded as planned with 55% of the structural concrete now complete as the team continues to work towards a topping off ceremony projected to take place in December 2025. In the last 100 days, the resort tower has grown by 44 meters.

There are currently 9100 construction team members onsite, and more than 100 concrete trucks in place on the site per day.

To date, the tower structure has been completed for 1121 guest rooms, or 73% of the total, with fit out underway in approximately 820 rooms, including walls, floors and ceilings, as well as all mechanical, electrical and plumbing services.

Wynn Resorts is developing the project in partnership with Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding.

Wynn Al Marjan Island, located in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, is Wynn’s first beachfront resort project. The destination will occupy 62 hectares in the Arabian Gulf.
