DST announces US sweepstakes market debut with Rebet

This agreement sees the provider’s bet builder offering go live with sweepstakes operator Rebet.
Key Points
- DST has officially launched its Bet Builder product via sweepstakes operator Rebet
- Rebet’s Prop City product will also now be powered by DST as part of the new arrangement
Provider Digital Sports Tech (DST) has entered a new arrangement that sees its bet builder product go live via sweepstakes and sports betting operator Rebet, making its entry into the free-to-play/sweepstakes market in the US.
Alongside the launch of its Player Props and Bet Builder products in partnership with Rebet in the US, DST has also announced it is now powering Rebet’s Prop City sweepstakes product as part of the deal.
Executive Director at Digital Sports Tech, Ari Lewski, spoke on the new arrangement, saying, “We’re incredibly excited to bring our Bet Builder product and solution to the US market with a free to play operator, especially at a time when player props and same-game parlays have become two of the most popular betting segments in the country.
“Rebet is an innovative, high-energy company with bold plans to take the US sweepstakes segment by storm, and we’re confident that our cutting-edge solutions will help them achieve that.”
For Rebet, this latest announcement comes after the initial launch of its free-to-play social sportsbook across 47 states in March. Additionally, in April, the operator announced the offering of fixed odds betting lines for the NBA playoffs.
Good to know: Rebet was founded and launched in February 2024 by four college students at Dartmouth University
Rebet CEO Carson Hubbard also commented, saying, “Partnering with Digital Sports Tech was a no-brainer for us. To compete in the US free-to-play market, we need a top-tier player props and same-game parlay (SGP) offering, and DST’s proven SGP solution, fast integration, and unrivalled coverage of player prop markets gives us the competitive edge we need.”
The burgeoning sweepstakes market has been causing quite a stir in the global gambling sphere. In September, industry leaders within the US gambling market announced the launch of the Social and Promotional Gaming Association (SGPA) to advocate for the responsible operation of social sweepstakes.
Last month, the subject of sweepstakes was also high on the agenda at the Tribal gaming regulator’s online webinar, in which the regulators expressed a need for clarity regarding gray market sweepstakes operations, specifically in California, which are seen to be exploiting legal loopholes.
