NHL signs cooperation deal with Veikkaus

The National Hockey League (NHL) has named Veikkaus as an official league partner through a recent cooperation agreement.
Per the terms of the deal, a wide range of NHL content will be available for hockey fans on Veikkaus’ channels. This will include games played in the US and in Canada.
The company said in a statement, “VeikkausTV will broadcast more than 700 NHL games live in connection with the game markets through a separate agreement. NHL games are shown on VeikkausTV during both the regular season and playoffs.”
Veikkaus Head of Communications Tuomo Torkkola said, “The NHL is the second most played league in Veikkaus Sportsbook after the Finnish League in terms of the number of customers. With the desired NHL partnership, we will be able to bring more official content from the world’s highest-level ice hockey league to our channels in the future.
“There is a wide demand for our NHL content, and it is great that we can offer it to our customers and Finns interested in the series also during the 2024 through 2026 seasons.”
