- AGS has approached this year with a motto that keeps players and the gaming floor experience in mind
- The company is releasing 70 new games this year
American Gaming Systems (AGS) announced during last week’s G2E in Las Vegas that it is launching four new product categories in its slot division this year.
Company SVP and General Manager of Slots Mark DeDeaux said, “This G2E for AGS has really come at a pivotal time in the evolution of our slot products.
“Just this year alone, we are launching 70 new titles, which is the most we’ve ever done in the history of the company.”
He went on to add that the company’s message and theme for this year’s G2E was “Hardware for every floor and games for every player.”
“This really ties into our expanded portfolio of new hardware configurations that are really designed to target any section of the casino floor.
“While some of our competitors have been able to say this for decades, this is the first time AGS has really had a robust product portfolio.”
DeDeaux explained that part of providing “games for every player” means focusing on diversifying its portfolio of titles, while expanding the quantity of games AGS offers.
He noted that game development took different betting styles into account and are suitable not just for high-limit players but for those who like to play using minimum bets.
AGS is a subsidiary of its parent company, PlayAGS. As a global gaming entertainment supplier, the company provides the global gaming industry with slot, table, interactive products and services.
The company recently broadened its US footprint by gaining an approval to release its portfolio of electronic gaming machines (EGMs) to casino operators in Colorado and Missouri. Through the release, casino patrons in both states can access a wide variety of AGS titles.
