PlayStar lands new partnership with New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center

Throughout the course of the 2024-2025 NHL season, PlayStar will look to leverage its partnership with the Devils to create further engagement opportunities.

Online casino brand PlayStar has announced a new partnership deal with the New Jersey Devils professional hockey team, as well as its home arena, the Prudential Center in Newark. The collaboration was reached by PlayStar in hopes of increasing its engagement efforts.
Sent directly to Gaming America, PlayStar CMO Jon Bowden commented on the new partnership, having said, “Player engagement and gamification have both been cornerstones of PlayStar’s marketing approach in the Garden State, so we’re delighted to be joining forces with a local institution like the Devils who truly share these values.
“From the moment PlayStar sat down to talk about what we could do with the partnership going forward, we felt our ideas really meshed and through ongoing promotions like the ‘Golden Goal Sweepstake,’ we feel we’re now in the perfect position to introduce our brand to a receptive and highly-engaged audience while also offering exclusive Prudential Center experiences to players.”
As the official partner of the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center, PlayStar will see exposure in the state both online through branded communications with the Devils on the PlayStar website and offline during home games at Prudential Center, where it will sponsor the ongoing Golden Goal Sweepstakes.

The season-long promotion will enable Devils fans the chance to win $10,000 cash at every home game. If a goal is scored during the 11:00 – 10:00 minute mark in the second period of a Devils’ game, PlayStar will randomly select a winner from one of the players who entered a submission in the Golden Goal contest.

Current plans include the creation of co-branded hockey themed gamification and leaderboards that will enable PlayStar customers to win tickets to upcoming games and events at Prudential Center.
