Gaming aggregator and supplier Relax Gaming has entered into a new partnership agreement with operator PointsBet, as the organization looks to reinforce its presence in the Ontarian market.
After initially entering Ontario’s provincial gaming market shortly following its full regulation in March 2022, Relax Gaming will be hoping that this latest collaboration with an established operator in PointsBet will help to increase its brand recognition in Canada. Particularly as it comes in the wake of the announcement that Alberta will be regulating its own online gaming market in the near future.
Relax Gaming CEO Martin Stålros commented on this latest announcement, saying, “Since we launched in Ontario we have enjoyed tremendous success, with our content hitting the sweet spot for the broad range of players in the Canadian province. This partnership with PointsBet will strengthen our presence in the market as the region’s leading operator integrates our rich content portfolio which will engage its player base.”

For PointsBet, this partnership will see the integration of a range of Relax content, as the operator looks to enhance its own player offerings within the Ontarian market, after opening a Toronto HQ back in 2022. The Australian operator has enjoyed success within the Ontarian market, despite selling its US counterpart (PointsBet US) to Fanatics in April for a total sum of $225m.
Speaking on this latest news, however, PointsBet Canada CEO, Scott Vanderwel, said, “Relax Gaming has established a strong reputation across North America and in Ontario in particular. The impressive range of content that will be integrated into our platform will increase engagement within our online platform and we are delighted to be able to provide more immersive experiences to our audiences.”
