Four Winds Casinos has partnered with OpenBet to implement player protection technology powered by Neccton.
In June last year, OpenBet completed a deal to acquire the responsible gaming and fraud detection company Neccton, as the pair looked to work together to create a gambling space that encourages responsible gaming.
Through this deal with Four Winds Casinos, which is owned and operated by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians, Neccton will offer responsible gaming and anti-money laundering (AML) software at its resorts across the Midwestern part of the US.
Neccton's software uses evidence-based interventions, including personalized pop-up messaging, limit setting functionality and valuable behavioral insights.
OpenBet has been working closely within the Tribal gaming community and has delivered its product suite to 14 Tribes, and earlier this year invested in Strive Gaming to help increase opportunities within newly operating Tribal markets.
OpenBet’s Neccton Managing Director Dr Michael Auer said, “Four Winds Casinos is an institution in Michigan and Indiana’s gaming landscape, whose commitment to player protection aligns with our goals and objectives. OpenBet has continually invested in strengthening its Protect pillar and with our Neccton technology always evolving with the latest data insights, Four Winds Casinos can be sure they are at the forefront of player protection.”
In other Tribal news, California Governor Gavin Newsom recently signed a bill which gives the state’s casino-owning Tribes the right to file lawsuits against business competitors, relating to if certain California card rooms are offering blackjack and pai gow poker card games illegally.
