Sleeper, a fantasy sports and DFS contest operator, has announced a new partnership with Birches Health to develop custom responsible gaming educational resources and create streamlined care pathways for individuals facing related challenges.
“This partnership with Birches Health highlights our commitment to providing effective support for any of our users who may need it,” Sleeper Senior Legal Counsel Matt Hagerty said.
“The wellbeing of the Sleeper community will continue to be a priority as we grow into the future.”
The partnership focuses on ensuring clinically validated treatment and resources are accessible to all and comes during Responsible Gaming Education month.
“Sleeper’s focus on ensuring access to resources and clinical treatment is a significant investment in player health,” Birches Health Founder Elliott Rapaport said.
“Their commitment to a sustainable user experience in fantasy sports is crucial to a collaborative and vital ecosystem that securely and swiftly connects those in need with the proper resources.”
Sleeper is known for its free fantasy leagues such as NFL and NBA, while also offering other products including DFS contests, free Pick’em/Survivor games, media content, score updates and more.
On July 23, the Pro League Network (PLN) formed a strategic collaboration with Birches Health to focus on increasing access to responsible gaming resources and problem gaming treatment.
The two will aim to ensure that wagering on PLN sports is done in a healthy manner through the production and promotion of clinician-led educational materials and support resources.
Birches Health offers comprehensive, virtual support nationally to PLN’s audiences of over 500,000 subscribers, enabling them to engage in the PLN ecosystem in a responsible manner.
