CDI closes senior secured credit agreement amendment
This extends the maturity date of its revolving credit facility and term loan A facility.
CDI has closed an amendment of its senior secured credit agreement. This will allow the company to “extend the maturity date of its revolving credit facility and term loan A facility from 2027 to 2029 and to make certain other changes to its existing credit agreement.”
Other notable company achievements include a recently extended deal with NBC Sports. The duo will continue to collaborate for the next eight years as part of a multi-year agreement.
The two first began their partnership in 2001. Under the terms of the new extension, NBC Sports will continue airing the Kentucky Derby on both its regular network and on Peacock through 2032.
The amended agreement will also allow the network to have multiplatform rights to both Kentucky Oaks and Derby and Oaks Day programming. Horseracing fans can watch these programs on the NBC, Peacock, USA Network and additional NBCU platforms.
This year marks the 150-year anniversary of the Kentucky Derby. Churchill Downs CEO Bill Carstanjen noted that the company’s extended partnership with NBC Sports adds more excitement to an already significant horseracing milestone.
CDI currently operates historical racing machines in Kentucky and was recently issued customary approving licenses by the Virginia Racing Commission, the New York State Gaming Commission and the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission.
The company recently celebrated the grand opening of Terre Haute Casino Resort in Indiana. The state’s 13th commercial casino players 1,000 slot machines, 35 live table games, a sportsbook and a poker room within its 400,000 sq. feet of gaming space.
The Vigo County resort also has nine food and beverage options. Its hotel portion of the new destination features 122 luxury rooms, a hotel pool, rooftop lounge and coffee shop.
