CFS announces the additions of Betr and Dabble

CFS recently appointed JT Foley as Executive Director of the Coalition, which is composed of members from other DFS companies.
The Coalition for Fantasy Sports (CFS) has announced that daily fantasy sports (DFS) companies, Betr and Dabble, will be joining the Coalition alongside standing members Underdog Fantasy and PrizePicks. CFS works to protect fantasy sports players, promote innovation, ensure responsible play, identify best practices and encourage growth of the market.
CFS also recently made personnel changes, appointing JT Foley as Executive Director of the Coalition.
“The Coalition is thrilled to welcome both Betr and Dabble to CFS. Their innovative approaches and commitments to the fantasy sports community align perfectly with our mission. I’m excited to work with their teams to drive progress and growth in the industry,” Foley said.
Betr was founded in 2022 and recently announced market access deals for an online sportsbook and casino in Pennsylvania as well as an online sportsbook in Colorado and Kentucky. The company has also already secured market access in Indiana, applied for a sports wagering license in Maryland and is currently live in Ohio and Virginia with its beta product.
“We are excited to announce Betr’s addition to CFS,” Betr Founder and CEO Joey Levy said.
“The Coalition has served as an effective advocate for consumer choice and fairness in the fantasy marketplace and we’re happy to help further that advocacy. We support their mission and hope our addition will increase the weight of the Coalition’s voice.”
Dabble has had a slightly more interesting journey in the DFS market, having been founded in Australia in 2020 and only recently having begun operations in the US in 2023. The company has grown mainly in part to its social features which include an interactive activity feed, the capability to follow fellow users and the option to replicate other users’ picks.
“Dabble is excited to join forces with CFS and contribute to a shared mission of advocating for fantasy sports enthusiasts across the country. As we continue to expand our presence in the DFS market, we recognize the importance of collaboration and collective action in advancing the interests of fantasy sports enthusiasts,” Dabble CEO Tom Rundle said.
“We look forward to working closely with Prize Picks, Betr and Underdog in this partnership and leveraging our expertise to drive positive change within the industry.”
