Delaware posts $133.7m in May iGaming handle

The state of Delaware has posted its iGaming results for the month of May. Delaware players wagered more than $51.7m in iGaming table bets and walked away with winnings that totaled $50.4m.
Video iGaming throughout the state brought in a total handle of $82m.
Vermont’s total iGaming handle reached $133.7m for the month of May.
The state’s iGaming handle rose last month when compared to results from April. However, the state posted a decrease in revenue month-to-month.
May revenue reached nearly $3.9m, down from the previous month’s total of $4.4m.
In a breakdown by casino, Delaware Park led the pack last month and contributed almost $33.6m to the state’s total May iGaming table handle. Video iGaming chipped in another $38.8m.
Delaware Park paid its winners nearly $32.7m in iGaming table wins and generated close to $1.5m in revenue.
Harrington ranked second for the month, contributing more than $848,000 to the state’s total May revenue. Players wagered $11.1m on iGaming table bets and $26.5m on video iGaming last month.
Harrington players walked away in May with almost $70m in total winnings.
Bally’s Dover took in $7m in iGaming table bets and $16m in video iGaming wagers. Bally’s generated more than $776,000 in revenue during the month of May.
In other state news, Internet Vikings recently opened a second data center location in the state of Delaware. This is the company’s latest move in extending its reach within the sports betting and iGaming markets.
The new center allows Internet Vikings to “deliver reliable and always-on disaster recovery services to operators” statewide.
