In an announcement sent exclusively to Gaming America and Gambling Insider, FanDuel has shared that Rob Gronkowski, or Gronk as many refer to the future Hall of Famer, will be at the FanDuel Casino Live Dealer Roulette Table on May 16 from 6 - 7pm EST.
Gronkowski is the first-ever celebrity to engage with players in a live dealer studio.
New Jersey players can join the table and play virtually, getting the chance to speak with Gronkowski through questions in the chat box while watching him interact with the dealer and comment on the game in real-time.
Gronkowski is a four-time Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers and is a member of the NFL’s 100th Anniversary All-Time Team. Gronkowski will be eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2027, with most believing he is guaranteed to be elected on the first ballot.
Known also for his eccentric personality and crazy spikes, including throwing down a shot glass at the Tom Brady Roast most recently, Gronkowski should entertain the audience in a myriad of ways even over the course of 60 minutes.
The event represents continued growth for FanDuel sportsbook as the company recently rose to become the number one sportsbook and US iGaming operator in gross gaming revenue.
