BetMGM debuts in the Netherlands to offer ‘Vegas experience’

The marks the second BetMGM European market launch.

MGM Resorts International has launched its BetMGM online sports wagering brand in the Netherlands. The company said it aims to give players throughout the region “an authentic Vegas experience” by utilizing LeoVegas Group’s propriety platform and technology.

LeoVegas Group CEO Gustaf Hagman commented, "Our launch in the UK was tremendously successful, and we eagerly anticipate bringing the golden Vegas experience to the Netherlands.

“This launch in the Dutch market is an important step in our international expansion, but we have much more in store."

Dutch players can access BetMGM’s loyalty rewards program, along with exclusive slots and games that feature large-scale jackpots.

With its debut in the Netherlands, MGM Resorts International and BetMGM celebrate two recent European launches. BetMGM recently released its content in the UK.

MGM Resorts International Interactive President Gary Fritz said, "We are thrilled to launch BetMGM in the Netherlands and build on BetMGM's successful expansion into global markets.

“The Dutch market offers an exciting opportunity and will be an important part of our international expansion efforts and strategy to become a global gaming leader."

In other company news, BetMGM recently partnered with global digital identity company, Prove Identity to “enhance the security and user experience for BetMGM customers.” Part of the collaboration involves implementing Prove Pre-Fill, which is designed to reduce sign-up abandonment rates and aid in bonus and promotion abuse prevention.

The program is now in use at more than 1,000 businesses worldwide, including nine out of 10 of the top banks.

BetMGM said it remains dedicated to offering its players safe and secure sports betting features that are easy to use.
