White and Sherwood will serve as Chief People Officer and Senior Director of Responsible Gaming respectively.

PrizePicks has hired Renee White to serve as the company’s Chief People Officer (CPO). In her new role, she will report directly to Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Adam Wexler.

Prior to joining PrizePicks, White served in various leadership positions at Warner Bros. Discovery. During her career, White has held a position as the Head of People & Culture for Turner Sports, Bleacher Report and Turner Studios.

White will carry out her new duties as CPO in Atlanta.

In addition to hiring White, PrizePicks has appointed Phil Sherwood as its Senior Director of Responsible Gaming.

Sherwood will be responsible for overseeing the company’s responsible gaming initiatives. Prior to his appointment at PrizePicks, Sherwood was the Chief Communications Officer for the Massachusetts Council on Gaming and Health (MACGH).

He also served as the President of the Board of Directors for the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG).

Company CEO Adam Wexler said, “Renee and Phil bring invaluable experience that will accelerate our growth as a company. Renee’s storied career as a people leader and her ties to the Atlanta community cannot be understated; having her join us at such a crucial phase for the company is pivotal.

“Combined with Phil expanding upon our responsible gaming initiatives, I’m excited to see both play a role in ensuring our business continues to prioritize its two most valued assets: our people and our players.”

In other company news, PrizePicks’ recently launched peer-to-peer fantasy sports title, PrizePicks Arena, reached two million lineups. More than 100,000 players contributed to Arena surpassing this milestone since the game’s debut.
