PrizePicks signs first NHL franchise partnership with the Dallas Stars

The agreement will give the company access to brand recognition and rights to team logos.
North American daily fantasy sport (DFS) operator PrizePicks has signed a deal with the Dallas Stars, representing the company’s first NHL franchise partnership.
The deal will allow the PrizePicks brand to appear duding Stars’ game telecasts through advertising. PrizePicks can also offer fans VIP experiences as part of its agreement with the Dallas Stars.
PrizePicks CEO and Co-Founder Adam Wexler said the company is eager to expand its brand within the Texas market.
He further commented, “We are thrilled to further establish the PrizePicks brand alongside a great franchise like the Dallas Stars.
“Texas is one of our most highly engaged markets, and hockey is one of our fastest growing segments. This partnership will accelerate our ability to enhance the gameday experience for fans.”
In addition to brand recognition during telecasts and games, PrizePicks will have rights to use the team’s logos.
Dallas Stars President and CEO Brad Alberts said the team is excited to partner with PrizePicks as an opportunity to enhance fan engagement.
He said, “Elevating the game day experience for our fans will always be a top priority for us.
“We’re excited about our partnership with PrizePicks, and we look forward to engaging with fans in this new and unique way.”
PrizePicks recently launched its peer-to-peer fantasy sports title, PrizePicks Arena. The new game gives players an opportunity to show off their skills by competing against other players and “builds on PrizePicks’ existing game and extends the second screen sports entertainment experience within the PrizePicks community.”
PrizePicks Arena is now available in the US in Alabama, Tennessee, West Virginia and Wyoming.
