Hard Rock Atlantic City raises over $164,000 for ‘Pinktober’ Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Overall, Hard Rock has raised $1.2m for Pinktober since 1999.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey has raised $164,000 through its annual Pinktober initiative.

This time was Hard Rock’s 24th annual charity event to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The company’s charitable arm, the Hard Rock Heals Foundation, donated the money to benefit the American Cancer Society and help aid breast cancer awareness and research.

Due to raising the large sum of $164,000, Hard Rock has been officially ranked as the number one fundraising team to donate to the American Cancer Society. 

Since its inauguration 24 years ago, Hard Rock has raised over $10m for Pinktober; including $1.2m raised in 2022 alone. The funds raised by Hard Rock Atlantic City will benefit the American Cancer Society’s mission locally.

In addition to its fundraising efforts, Hard Rock Atlantic City was the main sponsor of the ‘Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk’ in Ocean City that took place on October 8.

Furthermore, the band best-known for its rock anthem, ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ – Foreigner – donated a portion of its proceeds from the sold-out shows on October 27 and 28 that took place at Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena also benefited Pinktober efforts. 

Additional Pinktober fundraisers included pink-themed food and beverage offerings, deluxe ‘Pinktober Rock Spa’ services and limited-edition merchandise.
