Station Casinos’ Sunset Station to begin property-wide facelift

The casino will update its sportsbook to add kiosks and a 150-foot video wall.

Station Casinos’ Sunset Station has released details surrounding its property-wide renovation project. The casino plans to upgrade its STN Sportsbook, remodel its casino floor and relocate its High Limit Slots room.

Sunset Station’s Race and Sportsbook will close temporarily starting today to begin the proposed upgrades and make room for the new sportsbook. Once completed, the new sportsbook will offer its guests a new 150-foot video wall, race & sports betting kiosks and lounge-style seating.

While STN Sportsbook is being renovated, guests can still place wagers at the venue’s temporary race and sportsbook near the casino’s Rewards Center.

Sunset Station VP and General Manager Jordan Seager further discussed the new project and the company’s long history of providing patrons with the latest updates.

He commented, “We are thrilled to bring our guests an all-new gaming and sports betting offering in the coming months at Sunset Station.

“For more than 25 years, Sunset Station continues to raise the bar for our Henderson neighbors – this remodel will no doubt offer a best-in-class experience for our guests.” 

Station Casinos recently partnered with global open banking payments company Trustly to incorporate NFT payments into its digital casino. Under the terms of the agreement, Trustly will function as Station Casino’s official NFT payments provider.

Part of the agreement also includes bringing in CentralAMS to facilitate the digital wallets on Station Casinos’ behalf.

Station Casinos launched STN Charms, the company’s new NFT loyalty marketplace earlier this spring. Players can earn digital charms during play and can buy and sell the charms on the marketplace by using Trustly’s Open Banking Payments solution.
