BetParx expands into Maryland via Playtech partnership
Due to this collaboration, the platform is now live in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Ohio as well as Maryland.
Playtech has continued its partnership with BetParx to launch a new sportsbook in Maryland. BetParx will leverage Playtech’s IMS platform and mobile applications as part of the agreement, aiming for an immersive betting experience.
In February this year, BetParx launched its mobile sports betting app in Ohio. The partnership between Playtech and BetParx makes Maryland the companies’ fifth state launch. BetParx is currently live in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania as well as Ohio and Maryland.

In Maryland, several sportsbook apps including Caesars, BetMGM, Fanatics, FanDuel, BetRivers, DraftKings and Crab Sports are already available to sports bettors. In the recent Maryland Lottery and Gaming FY2023 report, the state posted that $25.3m was paid to the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future Fund from sports betting and fantasy sports.
