The Cosmopolitan will transition to MGM Rewards in February 2024

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will transition from its Identity loyalty program to the MGM Rewards loyalty program beginning on February 1, 2024.

Steve Zanella, Chief Commercial Officer for MGM Resorts, said, “Welcoming The Cosmopolitan into MGM Rewards is an important and exciting milestone in the evolution of our loyalty program experience. The Cosmopolitan will add an entirely new set of ways for gaming and non-gaming customers to enjoy all of the unforgettable, exceptional moments MGM Resorts and Las Vegas have to offer.”

Identity members will be contacted before the integration with detailed information about the transition to MGM Rewards. Until then, Identity members may continue to play and earn with Identity. Their earnings will be recognized when determining their MGM Rewards Tier Status in 2024.

Identity members will retain their offers and benefits through January 31, 2024. All Identity Points will carry over to their membership with MGM Rewards, constituent with program rules.

Guests who are members of both programs can continue to use Identity knowing that upon integration all Points will transfer to their MGM Rewards accounts. Combined Tier Credits will be used to determine MGM Rewards Tier Status.

Also, beginning in February, all MGM Rewards members will be able to earn and use MGM Rewards Points, Slot Dollars and Tier Credits at The Cosmopolitan.

MGM closed on its $1.6bn acquisition of The Cosmo in May 2022.
