Odds On Compliance, US Integrity name Matt Heap as ProhiBet Managing Director
The industry veteran will lead operations for the S3 joint venture program launch.
Sports betting and iGaming consultancy firm Odds On Compliance and US Integrity have recruited industry veteran Matt Heap to join the prohibited bettor solution, ProhiBet. Both organizations are part of the joint venture, Secure Sports Solutions (S3).
Heap’s responsibilities will include overseeing the operations and strategic direction of ProhiBet, as well as working with S3’s executive teams from both US Integrity and Odds On Compliance.
US Integrity CEO Matt Holt welcomed Heap to the team by saying: “We are thrilled to have Matt on board as the new Managing Director for ProhiBet.”
Heap joins ProhiBet with more than three decades of regulatory experience. He previously worked as the Deputy Director and Chief of Investigations of the Colorado Division of Gaming before retiring from the organization in June 2022. Heap also served as GeoComply’s Senior Director, Product Compliance.
Odds On Compliance CEO Eric Frank said: “His extensive experience in the sports betting industry and his proven track record of developing innovative solutions to protect against fraud and ensure the integrity of sports betting operations make him the ideal candidate for this role.”
The ProhiBet pilot program is designed to function as a comprehensive solution that “monitors compliance with regulatory requirements for prohibited persons via an encrypted decentralized cross-monitoring and notification platform.” The program will involve sports properties, regulators and sports wagering operators.
Heap took a moment to comment on his new role and on the upcoming launch by saying: “I am excited to join USI and Odds On to launch ProhiBet and continue to develop cutting-edge solutions that enable the industry to offer safe and secure sports betting experiences to their customers.
