Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa celebrates 20th anniversary with $55m tower redesign
The Water Club will be rebranded as the MGM Tower in the Atlantic City waterfront resort and casino.
Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa has begun a $55m redesign and rebrand of The Water Club. Renamed the MGM Tower, the revamped Atlantic City destination will feature more than 700 reimagined guestrooms. Vista Suites, located at the tower’s corners with wraparound views, will also be added.
Borgata says the remodel will focus on guest experience and accommodations, with nautical elements inspired by Atlantic City’s Marina District.

Guests in the updated MGM Tower will have access to existing Borgata entertainment, nightlife, dining, shopping, seasonal pools and dedicated valet and check-in areas. The project is slated for completion by Memorial Day weekend, with newly remodeled rooms available beginning in April.
A 9,000-square-foot event space on the 32nd floor is also being introduced in the former location of the Immersion Spa.
The MGM Tower will be designed and crafted in partnership with MGM Resorts International Design Group, and award-winning international interior design firm RVD Associates.
