Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa makes $750,000 in donations
It has gifted $10,000 each to 75 local charity organizations for National Philanthropy Day.
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa donated a total of $750,000 to a collection of Tampa Bay charities, in celebration of National Philanthropy Day. The 75 chosen charities are local to the Tampa Bay area. Each received $10,000 during a reception at the Gold Elvis Piano room of the casino.
Seminole Hard Rock Tampa President Steve Bonner commented: “The Seminole Tribe of Florida and Seminole Hard Rock Tampa take pride in their ongoing support of the Tampa Bay community.
“To that end, as we spotlight National Philanthropy Day, we wanted to honor 75 charities that do critical and important work for many people. But, more importantly, we want to give back to show we are extremely grateful for the magnitude of support from Tampa Bay throughout all these years.”
The 75 charities hand-picked by Seminole Tribe encompass organizations committed to health, housing, sports, wildlife, rescue services, emergency services and many more. Included on the list are the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Habitat For Humanity, The Tampa Foundation and The Centre for Women.
As part of the celebration, all attendees who had their Seminole branded Unity Card properly inserted into a slot machine during the announcement each won a $50 Bonus Free Play.
The social purpose of the Hard Rock casino and hotel chain has been firmly established since its foundation in 1971. Its motto is ‘Love All-Serve All, Take Time To Be Kind, Save The Planet, and All Is One.’
