Xpoint Verify to power Mojo in New Jersey
Mojo and its sports stock market has been added to Xpoint’s portfolio.
Mojo is a sports stock market that gives fans the opportunity to make real money bets on an athlete’s career prospects. Now, the stock market platform will be powered by Xpoint Verify in New Jersey.
Xpoint CEO and Co-Founder Marvin Sanderson said: “Being licensed in New Jersey enables us to work with world-class companies like Mojo, and we’re honored to be part of their team as they take their revolutionary product to market.
“We’re expecting to see a very busy end to 2022 for our team, and even more so as we look towards 2023 and beyond as we continue to grow, and add more partners to the world-class list of companies we’re already working with.”
Xpoint Verify is Xpoint’s real money gaming geolocation product and is offered with Xpoint Lite, the company’s Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) option.
Mojo Co-Founder and CEO Vinit Bhara commented: “Xpoint has been an integral part of our recent launch in New Jersey.
“We’re pleased to partner with Xpoint as our geolocation technology provider as we bring our first-of-its-kind sports stock market to fans.”
In early October, Xpoint announced a multi-million dollar round of investment funding that aims to support the company’s continued growth in the USA, Canada and worldwide.
Acies Investments, The Raine Group and SuRo Capital Sports were named as new investors, joining existing investors Bettor Capital and Courtside Ventures.
Sanderson commented: “We’re honored to have Acies Investments, The Raine Group, and SuRo Capital Sports join Bettor Capital and Courtside Ventures as investors in Xpoint.”
The investment round included David VanEgmond, the Managing Partner of Bettor Capital, being named to Xpoint’s board of directors.
