The D Las Vegas debuts Bacon Nation restaurant
The conceptual restaurant is a 24/7 bacon-inspired dining option.
The D Las Vegas has welcomed Bacon Nation, a bacon-inspired restaurant that is open 24/7, to downtown Las Vegas. Bacon Nation is located at the D’s reimagined second-floor casino.
The restaurant’s concept incorporates all things bacon into its breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes, as well as late-night meal items.
Bacon aficionados can choose from a variety of meal items, including gourmet bacon flights, French toast boxes, Boozy Milkshakes and a Reverse BLT, a sandwich that replaces bread with weaved bacon.
The restaurant features 13 gourmet bacon varietals that include lemon pepper, tajín, black truffle, chocolate, black pepper, jalapeno, barbecue, honey sriracha and various bagel options. The bacon-centric menu was created by Las Vegas Chef Josh Green.
Bacon Nation’s concept was developed by Downtown Hospitality Group. Restaurant Co-Founder Abe Taylor said the company remains committed to the growth and development of downtown Las Vegas.
Taylor commented: “As long-time proponents of downtown Las Vegas’ growth and development, we couldn’t have thought of a better partner in this project than Derek Stevens and the D.
“We’re excited to create a new 24/7 concept for the area and look forward to showing our guests a fun atmosphere paired with an exceptional menu.”
One facet Bacon Nation utilizes is its to-go system, which uses heated and refrigerated lockers that allow patrons to pick up their orders without long waits and long lines. The system allows customers to order by phone or online, and receive a pick-up time and a locker code once their meals are ready.
