Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino inks deal with EV Mobility
The two will work together to offer resort and timeshare guests access to electronic vehicles.
Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino has signed a deal with EV Mobility, LLC. to deploy electric vehicles (EVs) for timeshare and hotel guests. This deal will institute EV Mobility’s largest number of Tesla’s deployed to a single property.
Under the terms of the agreement, guests at 22 Westgate locations across the US will have access to an EV in addition to traditional car rental options.
Westgate Resorts was established in 1982 by David Siegel and has grown globally as a privately held timeshare company. Since it was founded, the company has developed several resorts around the United States, including locations in Florida New York, Utah, Nevada, Tennessee, South Carolina, Virginia, Missouri and Arizona.
EV Mobility said in an official statement: “The Tesla’s will add to Westgate’s amenities offered at the property. The average stay at a timeshare is a week, making the need for transportation a must.
“By having on-demand EVs on site, guests will find it more convenient to get around during their stay, eliminating the expensive and inconvenient need of traditional rental cars.”
EV Mobilty CEO Ramy El-Batrawi said the company expects that many of the casino resort’s guests will take advantage of the EV services.
El-Batrawi commented: “We are excited to partner with Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino as the first hotel in their portfolio offering transportation to guests as part of the experience. We expect high utilization from timeshare owners.”
Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino recently partnered with OPTX to release its full suite of slots, as well as marketing resources and player development to the casino resort. As part of the agreement, OPTX provides the resort with resources that will optimize gaming operations on the casino floor and create real-time viewing options for the staff.
