Bally’s Atlantic City to host charity bike ride
Funds raised from 25-mile coastal ride will go to aid cancer patients.
Bally’s Atlantic City has announced that it will hold a charity bike ride on September 12 to raise awareness and funds for peers in the industry who are battling cancer. The 25-mile ride will benefit both the Helen David Relief Fund and Chris Patino Hero’s Fund.
Both the USBG National Charity Foundation and Another Round Another Rally will also support the event.
Participants can ride for free. Snacks and bottled water will be provided to riders, as well as a complimentary lunch at The Yard.
Bally’s Corporation Director of Beverge and Nightlife and USBG National Charity Foundation Board Member Frank Martucci said: “I’m proud to be part of an industry and company who embraces unity and teamwork. This year’s official ride name #AllOneTeam defines a small part of how our industry can unite and support industry peers bravely battling all forms of cancer with dignity and courage.”
Bally’s Atlantic City will offer riders discounted stays on both September 11 and September 12. Riders will also have access to free parking during the event.
Martucci commended event sponsors and the hospitality they have shown to riders.
He said: “It’s great to see the kindness extended by our industry sponsors to host Atlantic City riders from many New Jersey and Northeast restaurants, bars, and casinos for this bike ride. During these challenging times in our industry, we need to continue to promote health and wellness amongst all of our peers.
“To get outside and bike along coastal south Jersey surely gives all our riders a great opportunity to relax, exercise, and enjoy catching up with fellow industry peers while raising funds for The Helen David Relief Fund at USBG National Charity Foundation and The Chris Patrino Hero’s Fund at Another Round Another Rally.”
