Gray Television debuts new sports betting TV show
“Beat the Odds” to provide multi-faceted sports betting insight.
A 30-minute program from Gray Television will be released on September 2 across 100 television stations. “Beat The Odds” will feature news, data, and analysis along with sports betting stories and odds.
FOX5 KVVU-TV in Las Vegas is partnering with production company Tupelo Media to produce the weekly program, Gray Television owns both FOX5 KVVU and Tupelo Media Group.
FOX5 Vice President and General Manager Michael Korr said: “Beat The Odds showcases two of the most popular aspects of sports for the public: betting analysis and compelling storytelling.”
News Anchor Dave Hall will serve as host for the new program and is joined by handicappers Jack Ross and Ted Sevransky. Super Bowl champion Brandon Marshall is also a part of the program along with roving reporter Mariah Janos.
Jack Ross has been a sports analyst for over two decades and is a regular contributor on SIRIUS XM. Ted Sevransky is a professional sports bettor and radio and television analyst.
Tupelo Media Group CEO Cary Glotzer said: “Beat the Odds is a different type of sports betting show.
“It will give sports bettors top-notch analysis and information, and it’ll be very entertaining, with features on sports history and how sports influence culture. It’s why we developed the show – to create a format that really engages sports and betting fans.”
Marshall provides true NFL insight as his time with the Denver Broncos saw the former wide receiver earn a Super Bowl ring.
Korr, Glotzer, and Tupelo Media Group CTO John Servizzi are the executive producers for the show.
