Bally Sports+ streaming service to debut in late-September
The streaming service will launch across all 19 Bally Sports regional sports network brands.
Diamond Sports Group, a subsidiary of Sinclair Broadcast Group, announced its direct-to-consumer streaming service, Bally Sports+ will officially launch on September 26, 2022.
The streaming service will launch across all 19 Bally Sports regional sports network brands (RSNs).
Bally Sports+ was initially launched in five regions in June. Bally Sports Detroit, Bally Sports Kansas City, Bally Sports Florida, Bally Sports Sun and Bally Sports Wisconsin all were part of the introductory launch.
The latest announcement means the service will span across the remaining portfolio of Bally Sports RSNs. The remaining regions are Bally Sports Arizona, Bally Sports Great Lakes, Bally Sports Indiana, Bally Sports Midwest, Bally Sports New Orleans, Bally Sports North, Bally Sports Ohio, Bally Sports Oklahoma, Bally Sports San Diego, Bally Sports SoCal, Bally Sports South, Bally Sports Southeast, Bally Sports Southwest and Bally Sports West.
Sinclair Broadcast Group Chief Executive Officer Chris Ripley commented: “Today is a significant step for the RSN industry as we offer local sports fans across our Bally Sports footprint a new way to watch their hometown teams.

Bally Sports+ is available to subscribers at $19.99 per month or $189.99 each year and includes a seven-day free trial.
Bally Sports+ COO and GM Michael Schneider added: “Launching a streaming service like Bally Sports+ across 19 different regions, all with unique content offerings, is an unprecedented undertaking.”
Other pricing options are expected to be revealed when the streaming service officially launches.
