Prairie Meadows Casino, Racetrack & Hotel expands technology with Agilysys
The partnership aims to elevate staff productivity and enhance guest experiences.
Agilysys, which has been in hospitality software for more than forty years, recently announced a partnership with Prairie Meadows Casino, Racetrack & Hotel.
The partnership will see Agilysys provide Prairie Meadows Casino with solutions that will automate functions throughout the property. Some of these functions include point-of-sale (POS), property management (PMS) and mobile reservations for rooms and activities.
Other areas that the Agilysys software will take over are mobile check-in, mobile keys, secure document management for identification scanning, electronic signature capture and electronic waiver archives.
Adding PMS and POS to inventory and procurement (I&P) means Prairie Meadows has all three hospitality core solutions in the Agilysys Hospitality Cloud.
The agreement between the two will allow Agilysys to use its software to automate and enhance guest and staff experiences across the property’s 85,000-square-foot casino.
Prairie Meadows operates one of only two non-profit casinos in the US. Since 1989 the partnership has generated more than $2.1bn in funding for local initiatives.

Prairie Meadows began operations as a nonprofit organization in 1989 with the intent of promoting economic development, jobs, agriculture, and tourism in the state of Iowa.
