Leigh Hughes joins React Gaming as Interim CEO

Hughes brings more than 20 years of experience to his new position.

React Gaming Group has named Leigh Hughes as its interim Chief Executive Officer, replacing current President and CEO Laurent Benezra. His promotion will take effect immediately.

Benezra, who recently stepped down from his position, will remain with the company in a consultancy role.

React Gaming Interim CEO Leigh Hughes said: “I am excited to have the opportunity to leverage the assets that React Gaming has acquired over the past year, including LOOT.BET, Compete.gg and Parabellum, all of which are top-tier assets with significant growth potential.

“My role as CEO and a major shareholder will be to build on this solid foundation, with the help of our outstanding and driven team, to continue to grow React Gaming and make it a leader in the esports space.”

Hughes has more than 20 years of experience in both the private and public sectors and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Curtin University, Western Australia. He has worked around the world, primarily in North America, Australia and in the Asia-Pacific region.

Hughes founded COMVERJ Ventures, a company that helps its clients find opportunities to enhance capital markets, merger acquisitions, innovation and business strategies.

COMVERJ Ventures’ reach extends to United States, Canada, Australia and Europe.
