Bragg Gaming Group closes deal for Spin Games acquisition

This is the latest move toward North American expansion for the company.
Bragg Gaming Group has completed its previously announced acquisition of Spin Games in a cash stock transaction that totaled close to $30m. The deal is the latest step in the company’s plan to expand its iGaming brand throughout North America.
Spin Games is a content and technology provider that services the US market. The company holds iGaming licenses in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Connecticut.
Bragg will utilize Spin’s existing US iGaming partnerships to launch new and exclusive third-party online casino content tailored to North American preferences. The company intends to cross-sell its current European casino content as well.
Bragg anticipates launching its first proprietary games on its remote gaming server (RGS) to Connecticut, Michigan and New Jersey during this year’s third quarter. An additional product launch in Pennsylvania will follow.
Bragg Chief Strategy Officer Yaniv Spielberg said: “Combining our RGS, advanced player engagement tools, data analytics capabilities and our newest game content developed specifically to appeal to North American players, with Spin Games’ state gaming licenses and established integrations with online casino operators comprising the majority of the US market significantly accelerates our entry into the North America iGaming market.
“We are positioned to quickly grow our US market presence over the next several months beginning with our iGaming content and supporting game optimization technologies. In addition, our proven player account management (PAM) platform which powers several leading iGaming and sports book brands in Europe, along with our full managed operational and marketing services allows us to offer a complete solution to online gambling operators of any size in currently regulated states and as additional states approve iGaming.”
As part of the agreement, Spin Games’ CEO and Founder Kent Young will step into the role of President – Americas for Bragg. His responsibilities will include overseeing the company’s US market roll-out growth strategy.
Young commented: “I am delighted to now be a part of the Bragg team and I’m confident the company is perfectly positioned to leverage our leading RGS technology and proprietary and third-party content to quickly execute on our US and Canada iGaming expansion plan.”
Bragg Gaming Group is a global B2B gaming technology and content provider and was founded in 2018. Since then, the company has expanded across Europe, Latin America and North America. Bragg plans to secure agreements with other online casino operators to continue building its brand worldwide.
Earlier in the year, Bragg was granted a supplier license to operate in the Bahamas. The company has gained licensing in several other regulated markets worldwide during the past 12 months, including the UK, the Netherlands, Greece, Switzerland and the Czech Republic.
The company also operates in Nevada through its subsidiary, Wild Streak Gaming, which offers its portfolio of casino games to land-based, online and social media casino operators throughout the US and the UK.
