Playmaker teams up with PointsBet during March Madness
PointsBet will sponsor “Playmaker On The Street,” hosted by Dakota Wiley, as well as additional Playmaker content.
Playmaker has partnered with PointsBet during this year’s NCAA March Madness tournament and will continue the collaboration going forward. Under the terms of the agreement, PointsBet will sponsor content with Playmaker and its Playmaker Betting subsidiary.
The online sportsbook will join Playmaker as the exclusive sponsor of several Playmaker March Madness free-to-play games, including Playmaker 16, Playmaker 8 and Playmaker 4.
PointsBet will also sponsor “Playmaker On The Street,” hosted by Dakota Wiley. The digital series is filmed on location at several of the tournament sites, including Pittsburgh and New Orleans.
Playmaker CEO Brandon Harris said: “We believe that betting content, like sports betting itself, should be fun. What’s more fun than following a former NBA player bet on his alma mater with over half a million in upside?
“We think it’s so much more engaging than old guys in suits giving picks or spamming offers, and so far the millions of impressions back that theory up. We’re so glad to be able to work with fun partners like PointsBet to bring this kind of collaboration together.”
Playmaker President David Woodley said the company looks forward to the collaboration.
