Comanche War Pony Casino set to open on Saturday

The Devol, Oklahoma-based property will feature 250 gaming machines and be open seven days per week.
A new tribal casino is set to open in Devol, Oklahoma this week. The Comanche War Pony Casino will host a grand opening party this Saturday, March 19.
The ceremony, which will begin at 10:00am with a cedar ceremony, prayer, ribbon cutting and blessing, will celebrate the opening of the first Comanche Nation-owned casino to launch in this region for some time.
Comanche Nation Entertainment CEO Mia Tahdooahnippah noted: “The opening of War Pony is a milestone for our company and the Comanche Nation. This marks the first of two new properties we will open this year.
“As we expand, our priority is to provide our guests with a unique experience that cannot be found at any other casino in the state. Most of the games we are introducing will be the first of their kind and offer a wide variety to ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy.”
This new property will feature approximately 250 gaming machines with titles such as The Vault, Gold Hills and Lucky Mule. The casino will be open seven days a week from 9am to midnight. The gaming location will also feature a restaurant and dining area.
The Comanche Nation currently owns and operates a number of gaming properties across Oklahoma, which is the nations’ largest tribal gaming state. These properties include locations in Lawton, Richards Spur, Walters and Randlett. Later this year, the tribe will launch a property in Cache.
