$100m from Bally’s for anyone who can predict complete March Madness bracket
It is a feat that has never been achieved.
March Madness frenzy is nearly upon us and to amp up the hype, Bally’s Interactive has launched Bally Bracket, a free-to-play game in which a possible $100m jackpot awaits the person who can correctly predict the 63 games of the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament.
Bally’s Interactive is the digital subsidiary of Bally’s Corporation.
In addition to the $100m jackpot, Bally Bracket will also be offering $100,000 in cash prizes, given out in a scattered fashion and completely at random: one winner will receive $50,000, another will receive $25,000, two will receive $10,000, and a final will receive $5,000.
March Madness is one of the biggest events in the sports betting calendar, and the rapidly expanding Bally’s is keen to capitalize on its importance.
In this spirit, North America Bally’s Interactive COO Adi Dhandhania commented: “The NCAA tournament is always an enjoyable time of year as people gather to cheer on their favorite teams. Bally’s has been a brand synonymous with fun for decades, so we developed an engaging free-to-play game for fans to participate in and have an opportunity to win $100m.”
Media exposure was also noted in Dhandhania’s comments: “We are excited about our partnership with Sinclair Broadcast Group and will be using their massive media footprint to promote the Bally Bracket game.”
Viewers will remain apprised of the progress of Bally Bracket on Sinclair TV stations, regional Bally Sports networks and digital media.
A product of SportCaller – which is an offshoot of Bally’s Interactive’s free-to-play games – Bally Bracket begins registration today.
As far as predicting March Madness goes, since the pool was opened to 64 teams in 1985, no one has ever accurately guessed the whole bracket.
