Pariplay gains provisional license to operate in Michigan

Marks another stage in the expansion of a group that is now live in three US states.
European content provider Pariplay has continued its US expansion this week after it was awarded a provisional license to operate in the state of Michigan.
With its new Provisional Internet Gaming Supplier License, Pariplay will be able to offer its popular aggregation service in the Great Lake State. The provider – which is owned by Aspire Global – has already unveiled plans to go live with some major operators.
Among Pariplay’s most popular products is Fusion, a flexible aggregation platform that can bring to players both leading titles and localized content from over 70 vendors.
Michigan is one of the six US states where online casino games are legal, the others being Pennsylvania, New Jersey, West Virginia, Connecticut and Delaware.
Pariplay is already in some of these markets. After establishing a partnership with BetMGM, it debuted in New Jersey at the outset of 2021. Later, in Q3, its platform went live in West Virginia.
The group is happy to be expanding its footprint in the highly lucrative US market. As Managing Director Adrian Bailey commented: “We are very pleased to be granted our Michigan license in what is an important moment for Pariplay.
“We’ve made a concerted effort to grow our reach in the US both through signing new partners and gaining new licenses, and this approach continues to generate success for us. It is an exciting time at Pariplay and we can’t wait to get started in Michigan.”
Pariplay’s parent company, Aspire Global, has also been in the news this week after gaming giant NeoGames made a takeover bid that Aspire’s directors recommended be accepted by shareholders. The company has been valued at $600m.
