Aristocrat named as Founding Member of UNLV’s AI research hub

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas’ (UNLV) International Gaming Institute (IGI) has named Aristocrat as a new Founding Member of its AI research hub, also known as AiR Hub, where the supplier will utilize industry experience to contribute to the Hub’s advisory panel and support key research initiatives developed by the institute.
“We are thrilled to welcome Aristocrat to AiR Hub as a founding member,” IGI Director of Research and Co-Founder of AiR Hub Kasra Ghaharian said.
“Having a global leader with Aristocrat’s scale, technological depth, and commitment to innovation is a monumental step for this initiative. Its perspective will be invaluable as we work to create actionable research and practical tools for the industry.”
The addition was said to “strengthen” the Hub’s goal of fostering a more collaborative ecosystem to study the impacts, risks and opportunities of AI in gambling.
Originally launched in May 2025, the Las Vegas university’s AiR Hub seeks to “accelerate the adoption of trusted and responsible AI” throughout the casino and gaming industries.

Aristocrat now joins a Founding Member group currently consisting of companies such as Action Gaming, Gaming Analytics, Kindbridge Behavioral Health, Playtech and the Responsible Online Gaming Association.
