Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians open newly renovated casino
The Rolling Hill Casino and Resort, California, now has a larger gaming floor and added restaurants.
The Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians today announced the launch of the newly expanded Rolling Hills Casino and Resort located in Corning, California.
The project, which broke-ground in 2019, features a remodelled interior and exterior, upgraded hotel rooms, and a 40% larger gaming area, adding 10 new table games.
This expansion has seen the resort’s event and casino spaces increase by 30,000 and 60,000 square feet respectively.
“We are excited to offer our guests more entertainment and dining options at the Rolling Hills Casino and Resort,” said Andrew “Dru” Alejandre, tribal chairman of Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians at the casino’s grand opening.
While improving the visitor experience, the Tribe hopes this expansion will also benefit local communities and help to make the nation sustainable. Currently, the Tribe is one of the top three employers in Tehama County, this expansion adds a further 100 new team members.
“Most importantly, this expansion has allowed us to drive economic progress in the region through the creation of new jobs, which supports our Tribe’s goal of building a sustainable future for our people and our surrounding communities. We are grateful for our Tribal Members, team members, community and valued guests for their continued support,” added Alejandre.
Specific additions to the newly expanded casino and resort include a Rock & Brews Restaurant, Fatburger, 628 Steakhouse and a new Paskenta Brewery & Distillery.
The casino floor will now offer beverage options in the way of the new Center Bar, which serves a selection of beers and cocktails. Furthermore, players will have access to a number of TV screens dedicated to sports coverage.
