Rivers Casino Philadelphia to host ‘JOBtober’ jobs fair
Positions in gaming, food and beverage, and paid internships to be available.
Rivers Casino Philadelphia is set to host a jobs fair on October 5 at 10 am local time. The event, titled JOBtober, will seek to find employees in positions such as gaming and food and beverage, among other roles.
“We’re looking for enthusiastic people to join our fun, hardworking team at Philly’s first casino,” said Justin Moore general manager at Rivers Casino Philadelphia. “The gaming industry is an exciting opportunity where qualified candidates have the chance to start a lifelong career with great benefits.”
Specifically, there will be full and part-time positions opening the gaming sector, food and beverage, security, and player services. Furthermore, Rivers will offer paid internships for those looking to make their first steps in the gaming industry.
For these jobs, the company will offer non-tipped positions a minimum rate of $15 per hour. Team members will be offered benefits including healthcare, 401(K), and tuition reimbursement.
At the event, on-the-spot interviews will be available. On top of this, Andrew Pierce, of Hell’s Kitchen fame, will be there to demonstrate how to prepare items from the property’s menu.
All candidates that attend the event must be 18 years or older. Masks will be required by all guests and team members, per guidelines from the city of Philadelphia.
Rivers Casino is located on the Delaware River waterfront in Philadelphia. The property features 1,600 slots, 105 table games, 65 hybrid gaming seats, a 28-table poker room, and a sportsbook designed for live sports betting.
