Playmaker’s Futbol Sites scores media rankings win in Latin America

Brand was tops in both unique users and sessions in July.

Futbol Sites was ranked as the No. 1 regional digital sports media group across the six top Latin American markets in July’s rankings by Comscore, a provider of benchmarks for planning, transacting and evaluating media across platforms.

Futbol Sites is operated by Playmaker, a digital sports media company that lives at the intersection of sports, betting, media and technology. Playmaker says it is building a collection of premier sports media brands, curated to deliver highly engaged audiences of sports fans to sports betting companies, leagues, teams and advertisers.

Founded in 2008 by Federico Grinberg and Nahuel Pan, Futbol Sites says it has a Latin American audience in excess of 37.5m unique users across Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile and Peru, who visit its more than 15 web properties and apps more than 166m times per month.

The company said this reach allows it to deliver more than 1.4 billion monthly ad impressions to advertisers and online sports betting companies. Futbol Sites also reaches more than 300m fans monthly through a variety of social media channels, which Playmaker said is another area of growth for the business.
