RSI launches localized sports betting content across the US
Named CityCasts, content will be produced for the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB as well as college sports.
Rush Street Interactive (RSI) has today announced that, beginning this month, the Chicago-based gaming company will launch region and city specific audio and video sports betting podcasts across its BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse brands.
The platform, titled CityCasts, will see content produced for Chicago, Detroit, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia with New York, Denver, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles coming soon.
The new platform aims to deliver news, analysis and betting insight to help sports bettors make informed wagering decisions. Podcast’s will feature news and analysis from the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB as well as college sports.
“These CityCasts are locally focused, which is consistent with our strategy to offer our players hometown sportsbooks, and offer authentic and credible breakdowns specific to each host’s home market,” said Richard Schwartz, CEO of RSI.
“The hosts’ expert analysis will assist BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse bettors in making knowledgeable sports betting decisions, whether they’re experienced or brand new to the action.”
For each podcast the production staff has been locally sourced to ensure an area specific lens. The podcasts, hosted by BetRivers, will be produced five days each week and be available for both video and audio-only formats. Listeners can find the content on a number of platforms including BetRivers’ Blog, VSiN’s website, iHeart Media, Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
RSI currently operates in 10 US states including Pennsylvania, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Michigan, Indiana, Virginia, Colorado, Iowa and West Virginia.
