BetMGM teams with Professional Fighters League
Authorized gaming operator of the PFL will offer special promotions to bettors.
BetMGM, a sports betting and digital gaming entertainment company, on Wednesday said it has formed a partnership with The Professional Fighters League (PFL).
The PFL describes itself as the No. 2 MMA company in the world. It presents MMA in a sports-season format, in which individual fighters compete in a regular season, playoffs and a championship.
The league offers PFL SmartCage,which gives viewers on-screen fight analytics and real-time prop bets.
Under terms of the agreement, BetMGM has been designated a US authorized gaming operator of the PFL.
The two parties said fans across the country will be able to wager on fight lines on BetMGM beginning with PFL 4 from Atlantic City, which will air on June 10 in primetime on ESPN networks and streaming platforms.
BetMGM will have rights to PFL logos and marks, as well as VIP events, and will offer BetMGM users unique PFL-related promotions. BetMGM will also offer users who place a $25 bet on PFL 4 a free $10 bet.
“We are excited to partner with BetMGM to evolve our premium betting experiences for the millions of passionate sports fans across the country ahead of PFL 4 on June 10,” PFL CEO Peter Murray said in a statement. “Our fighters are facing win-or-go-home matchups in the remaining regular season events and expanding our sports betting offerings delivers another thrilling component to our league.”
Matt Prevost, chief revenue officer for BetMGM, added, “The upcoming PFL slate is phenomenal, and we look forward to offering fans exciting opportunities to get in on the action with unique PFL promotions on BetMGM.”
BetMGM is the result of a partnership between MGM Resorts International and Entain. If offers sports betting and online gaming via brands such as BetMGM, Borgata Casino, Party Casino and PartyPoker.
The BetMGM app is available for download on both iOS and Android and accessible via desktop.
