Hard Rock International shares details of its anti-human trafficking efforts

Key Points
- ECPAT International recognized Hard Rock International for outstanding commitment to child protection earlier this year
- Hard Rock has continued to adhere to the ECPAT ‘code of conduct’ and has provided its education programme to 500,000 students in 2025 so far
- It has also donated $100,000 so far this year to PACT (Protect All Children from Trafficking)
Hard Rock International has shared details of its human-trafficking prevention protocols following its recognition from ECPAT International in July.
ECPAT International was formerly known through the campaign: ‘End Child Prostitution and Trafficking,’ and the group continues to advocate, raise awareness and take definitive action to protect children from sexual exploitation today.
Hard Rock International was listed as one of ’25 Top Members of the Code’ in July and has announced more details of its efforts, including the Social Identity Quest (SIQ) Programme, its support of PACT and commitment to team member training.
349 organisations are signed up the ‘The Code,’ a code of conduct with the intention of providing tools and support to those willing to make an active commitment to protecting children and ending sexual exploitation.
Hard Rock became a signatory of the ECPAT code of conduct in 2022 and was the only company in the gaming sector to be recognised as a ‘top member.’
According to the operator’s announcement, 500,000 students in the USA and Mexico have now completed the Hard Rock SIQ programme this year alone – this course is delivered alongside PACT (Protect All Children from Trafficking).
Good to know: In 2023 Seminole and Hard Rock received the ‘Freedom Award‘ from PACT after they increased their efforts in awareness and prevention
The company has donated $100,000 to PACT so far in 2025 through the Change for Change initiative, by which guests can donate the change from tickets.
The announcement also points to 65,000 completed sessions of team member training, including “comprehensive anti-trafficking training” – again this figure covers 2025 so far.
Stephanie Piimauna, SVP of People and Inclusion at Hard Rock International and Seminole Gaming, said: “Everyone at Hard Rock International is incredibly honoured to be recognized by ECPAT International and The Code for the work we are doing to combat human trafficking.”
